Blackstone-Millville Marching Band

Our grandson Ethan plays mellophone in the BMR marching band.  Some 80 or so students from the high school participate and they work extremely hard!  We have watched the practice many times over the summer and they are now in competition leading up to finals to be help in New Jersey in November.

We have watched many high school bands from the New England area compete in recent weeks.  In each performance they get better and better.  The quality of their playing and precision of their marching, in complex patterns, has to be seen to be fully appreciated.  The dedication of the students and their teachers to this very worthwhile pursuit is of the highest order.
